Pride, Poise, & Professionalism

Before each performance we remind ourselves that when we are in the public eye we will do everything with Pride, Poise and Professionalism. Being a member of our organization carries with it many benefits but it also comes with obligations. We understand that when we perform, we are part of a long history and heritage and everyone who has ever performed as a member before us, is represented in our current band program. That's a large weight to bear, but its also a tremendous honor to know that we carry the flame forward. Its also very rewarding to know that in 20 years there will be someone else carrying our hard work forward and continuing the legacy that we have worked hard to maintain.

Hard Work Always Wins

We firmly believe that hard work is the single most important component for excellence in every aspect of life. Opportunities for success are often missed because they look and feel a lot like hard work. We will not be outworked, because hard work is part of our culture!

Details Matter

​

When you take of the little details, the big details will always take care of themselves. This statement has been uttered in our band room for years, and even if it wasn't spoken, it was practiced. Details are what makes the difference between a high quality performance and a mediocre one. Beyond the musical benefits, details are what makes people successful. Our world is filled with details and the most successful people in the world have discovered a way to make details a part of their personal code.

Family

Our band is our extended family. We laugh together, we cry together and we work hard to build each other up. When one of us succeeds, we are all successful.  While we may not always get along, we are always here for each other and will always do what we can do to make our family grow and move forward.
