Marching
bruins
Affectionately nicknamed "The Blue Machine" by its supporters, the Marching Bruins are the flagship ensemble of the Camden Band Programs.
With its history stretching back to the late 1970's, the Marching Bruins have a long history of excellence. Along the pathway of winning numerous musical and visual awards the Marching Bruins have always maintained its commitment to creating a family environment for it's members.
Auditions for the ensemble begin in late winter and early Spring of each year. Membership is open to all current band students in grades 9-12 and members of the general population of CCHS and CECHS are encouraged to audition for the Visual Ensemble.
Camden Band Ensembles

Encompassing all instrumental performance groups in grades 6-12, the Camden Bands have much to offer to the students in our county. With an ensemble specific for 6th, 7th and 8th grade as well as the high school ensembles, students are assured of getting a well rounded and quality music education.

The band directors at each school as well as the additional instructors and clinicians used throughout the school year work hard to create a comprehensive band program. Students will progress from beginning band student to intermediate and advanced level of playing through specialized instruction that is solidly based on fundamentals.
